Standard FlexFoil Sample Bags
Standard FlexFoil has good stability for low molecular weight compounds such as VOCs and CO, CO2, methane and SF6.The range has good 48 hour stability for hydrogen sulphide, carbonyl sulphide, methyl and ethyl mercaptan. It is strong and flexible and constructed from evenly sealed 4-ply (5-mil) material. Light- and moisture-proof, it is excellent for light-sensitive compounds.

SamplePro FlexFilm Sample Bags
Our FlexFilm sample bags are currently being phased out of production, and so stock may be limited of certain sizes. Please contact SKC Limited for availability.
SamplePro Flexfilm Bags are designed for single use only and should not be used at temperatures above 60°C (140°F). They are constructed of 3-mil SKC proprietary material, ideally suited for collecting air samples of VOCs. FlexFilm features lower total VOC background than Tedlar but shows the same sample stability for VOCs as seen with Tedlar. The range is a cost effective alternative to Tedlar for performance with minimal adsorption.
Good stability for a wide variety of VOCs and CO, CO2, methane and SF6.

FlexFoil PLUS Sample Bags
FlexFoil PLUS is an enhanced version of standard FlexFoil with the same benefits but with good storage stability from low ppm to high ppb level VOCs. It has good stability for low molecular weight compounds such as VOCs and CO, CO2, methane and SF6. The range has good 48 hour stability for hydrogen sulphide, carbonyl sulphide, methyl and ethyl mercaptan. It is strong and flexible and constructed from evenly sealed 4-ply (5-mil) material. Light- and moisture-proof it is excellent for light-sensitive compounds.

Tedlar Sample Bags
Tough, flexible Tedlar film features tensile strength and toughness for many applications. Tedlar film is rated for continuous use from -72° to 107°C (-98° to 224°F) when used with the appropriately rated fitting. This wide range of operation allows for use in very cold or very hot environments including stacks, vents, and flues.
SKC Tedlar film has a melting point of 190°C (374°F). However, the bag fitting dictates the maximum operating temperature of the sample bag:
- Tedlar bags with stainless steel fittings have a maximum operating temperature of 107°C (224°F) based on the temperature tolerances of this fitting’s O-rings.
- Tedlar bags with polypropylene fittings have a maximum operating temperature of 93°C (199°F) based on the temperature tolerance of the fitting material. Strain on the fitting should be avoided at the maximum temperature.
