Gastec Pyrotec Tubes

The Gastec Pyrotec Tubes require the additional use of the portable Pryotec Pyrolyzer (810-840) accessory to quickly, accurately and quantitatively measure fluorochlorocarbons, nitroparaffins, anesthetic gases, and other hard-to-detect compounds on-the-spot, as listed in the table below. The sample enters the Pyrotec tube where it is thermally decomposed into substances that react chemically with the reagent to give the resultant colour change.

The Pyrolyzer is not suitable for use in hazardous atmospheres.
