Training Courses
SKC has offered this comprehensive one day hands-on practical training course since 2009, covering the main areas of air sampling, and looking at the various recognised methods of dust, gas and vapour sampling, and offering practical hints and tips.
The course includes:
- Introduction to air sampling methods
- Exposure limits ‐ what they are, and how to monitor for them
- Dust/gas/vapour sampling - how, why, when with recognised methods
- Practical sampling exercises with equipment provided
- Interactive question time
Who should attend?
This course is ideal for those responsible for workplace safety or overseeing staff. It is equally suitable for beginners, NEBOSH and Diploma holders requiring practical advice, or as a refresher course for current practitioners. Also, useful for managers looking to save time and money but meet current legislation.
Course Information
The course runs from 9.30am to 3.30pm approximately. All training course materials and lunch are provided. Whilst equipment will be available, delegates are welcome to bring their own for the practical sessions.

Prices
- The cost of the course is £375 + VAT per delegate.
- The cost for any additional delegate from the same company, booked for the course at the same date and venue, is £300 + VAT per delegate.
Payment
- Payment can be made by Credit Card or BACS.
- The Course must be paid for at time of booking or 3 weeks before the start date of the Course, whichever is the latest.
- Cancellation with full refund or any amendment is permitted 3 or more weeks prior to the course date. If cancellation is made within 3 weeks of the course date no refund is possible.
